The Rio Player was launched during the first covid lockdown, in 2020.
The cinema desperately needed to keep playing films. So we looked to the internet and the amazing work of many UK based film distributors, and created the Rio Player.
When I set about designing this logo I wanted to retain a familiarity for the cinema’s customers, but incorporate a clear visual code giving an immediate understanding that it’s specifically for a VOD platform.
